CERTEX Latvia is constantly improving the work environment and providing safe and healthy working conditions so that each day would be without accidents for our customers, who are working with our products and services, and us.

Every day, thousands of lives are lost due to work accidents or fatal diseases linked to work activities. According to information from State Labour Inspectorate Republic of Latvia, 23 employees died at work in 2018 and 197 people have suffered serious body injuries.

By improving CERTEX Latvia company’s safety requirements and enforcing one of our goals “Safety First”, we are the first company in Latvia which is certified with ISO 45001: 2018 Standard “Occupational health and safety management system”.

About ISO 45001

To reduce the number of occupational diseases, injuries and fatalities in any type of company, ISO has developed a new standard, ISO 45001, Occupational health and safety management systems - Requirements, which can contribute to a significant increase in the level of safety at the workplace. The standard provides a single framework for all companies that plan to improve their performance in Occupational health and safety. The main goal is to provide safe and healthy workplaces for employees and visitors, by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving companies occupational health and safety perfomance.
